In this example we are looking a 12m x 6m pool that was constructed on a terraced hillside in proximity to an area that has been subject to soil creep or slippage over the years.
You can do this by building up pool walls on the higher side of the slope giving you an inbuilt retaining wall.
How do they do it.
This can be done by building the gunite pool walls up on the high end of the slope to achieve a built in retaining wall.
Or the pool wall on the low end of the slope can be built up so that the level of the walls is even all the way around the pool.
Tile the exposed walls or face them with natural stone to add aesthetics to your pool.
The exposed pool walls can be tiled or faced with stone to add to the aesthetics of the pool.
This allows for some great tiered patios where the seating area sits overlooking the pool or vice versa.
