Double sided documents cannot be automatically scanned and sent from the adf.

Is there a way to fix this. I loaded two sided photo paper into the bottom tray set ithe mx922 for high quality and got excellent prints. Everything works well and i am able to two side print documents from web pages and e mail by checking the two sided box on the print drop down menu. Insert the document into the adf with the side to scan facing up 3 as shown in the image below.
