Canon Printer Two Sided Printing

Canon refers to the act of two sided or double sided printing on its machines as duplex printing.

Select letter 8 5 x11 22x28cm or a4 in the page size drop down on the page setup tab. To print on the back side of a printed document smooth out the curling edges of the sheets and place them one by one in the multi purpose tray. Two sided printing can be performed manually using a printed document. Click the drop down arrow for copies pages and then select layout.

Print on two sides. Click file and then click print. Select print from the file menu of the application. Please follow the steps below to turn off 2 sided printing and also save the 1 sided option as a preset.

Check the duplex printing check box on the page setup tab and confirm that automatic is checked. Check the duplex printing manual check box on the page setuptab. One sided should be set as the default so we can assist you better please let us know if you are using windows or mac and what program you are printing from. The procedure for printing data on both sides of a sheet of paper is as follows you can also set duplex printing in additional featureson the quick setuptab.

2 select your printer finishing select 1 sided printing or 2 sided printing from print style. Click the drop down arrow for 2 sided and then select off.
