Thanks for the tip.
Carpet dents ice cubes.
And if you re using this trick on carpet with a low pile or an intricately woven pattern it may take a few ice drops before you start to see results.
This handy little hack is fine for most carpets just be sure your carpet content can handle a few small puddles of water that might appear the next morning.
Or steam away dents.
The first step is to hit up your freezer s automatic ice maker for supplies or simply freeze a tray of ice cubes before proceeding.
The moisture from the slowly melting ice cube gives the carpet fibers time to swell and regain their original shape.
The higher the pile the better.
A coin will also work.
Before you rearrange your furniture you re going to want to read this.
Place a clean damp cloth over them and hold an iron on medium heat several inches above the cloth for about 30 to 60 seconds.
I have a couple of spots that i am now going to do this on and see if it works.
Finally use the edge of a spoon to push the carpet fibers back in an upright position.
You can remove a carpet dent with just an ice cube and a spoon.
This will give the fibers plenty of time to swell and start regaining their original shape and plumpness.
No really hear us out.
I have heard of doing this but haven t tried.
Coming over from in and out of the kitchen.
