Hi i m currently renting an old barn conversion where i m finding my sofa and clothes are feeling damp. This scenario occurs mostly in basements. Can i wet vac my carpet after using a cleaner. Pat on july 09 2015.

Cleaning residue can turn into a sticky texture and give you this feeling. Yes vinegar works great for removing sticky textures out of a carpet however you need to do a bit more than that.
